Seafood2030 is a group of people who represent key stakeholders in the global seafood industry. These include: trade organisations, NGOs, regulatory bodies, funders, and conservation specialists. Our goal is to research areas of needed transformation of the global seafood industry and propose ways of achieving them. We are working to develop seafood systems that support equitable relationships with seafood dependent communities and the oceans.

To do this, our intention is to increase the sphere of influence of sustainable seafood stakeholders to address issues like plastics, climate change, fair labor practices, illegal fishing and weak governance and to increase the sphere of influence to drive the uptake of sustainable practices deeper into the seafood industry."
